Digital Painting 4 Week Workshop on iPad using Procreate & Apple Pencil

Have you been excited about learning digital painting on procreate but haven't gotten a chance to get started? This is your chance! Join us as we take you through fundamentals of using procreate to create paintings that look as good as real life paintings. We will cover everything from layers, brushes and shortcuts to techniques, tricks and use of special effects. This is a completely beginner friendly workshop. All you need is an ipad with procreate installed on it, an apple pencil and lots of enthusiasm to learn.

About the Instructor: Sai Priya Mahajan is an Indian Contemporary Artist who recently won the Outstanding Watercolor Award at the Boldbrush Contest. An engineering graduate from IIT Bombay, she has now exhibited in India (Mumbai, Bangalore, Chandigarh) as well as internationally (NY, Philadelphia - USA, Toronto-Canada, Taipei-Taiwan) and is part of several Art Associations including the International Watercolor Society, Philadelphia Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, USA and a lifetime member of the Art Society of India. Sai loves to share the joy of painting by teaching various art forms and has conducted many art workshops in the past.

Rough Schedule: Workshop will be held on 4 Thursdays between 2pm-4pm.

Starting with the fundamentals of procreate, brushes, palettes, we will move on to techniques & tricks and learn to apply these learnings by making simple and complex paintings. There will also be homework for the enthusiastic ones :) that will help you hone the techniques & tricks learnt. We will cover simplistic illustrative style, cartooning style as well as painting style that can make your painting look like an oil painting.

Material: You need an iPad, procreate app and apple pencil/stylus compatible with and connected to your ipad. Please make sure you have installed/purchased procreate, have charged both your iPad and your apple pencil to 100% before the start of the session and also connected to the internet. These are mandatory requirements for the workshop. Also, even though we might not need this, you may keep a couple of rough papers and a pen/pencil handy in case you want to draw something on a paper or write down tips at some point.

Please be ready with all required materials at least 5-10 mins before the start of the session. Make sure to register using the participants name, email and phone number (on which whatsapp is functional). Please note the all timings are in IST (which is GMT+5:30hrs).

Late entries are not allowed. Please familiarise yourself with Zoom and its usage so you can join in on time, and have no trouble during the session. Zoom link will be sent to you 10 mins before the start of the session on whatsapp on the number you provided during registration.

Important T&C: The ticket price is per user per session. For example, if two people are attending using one login, please pay for 2 people. This ticket is valid only for the said date and time and cannot be used for other workshops. Videos not included. Non-refundable. Tickets once booked, cannot be cancelled/ rescheduled/refunded.
